Confirmed Sighting: Nestle Munchies Munchies (small bag)
Posted: 21:48 Thu 10-04-2003. Price: 39p. Location: All over London. Nutritional unusualness: None noted.
Another near-miss is transformed into a triumph: "Dudley" reported a sighting of Dime Nuggets at the ever-popular University of East Anglia, describing them as "Small bits of Dime Bar! Chocolate melts a little too quickly!", and backing up his sighting with this news story on the Kraft site. Dudley, if you look more closely, that story (and the product it refers to) is more than a year old. And sorry, but the same applies to the guy who sent in the (otherwise excellent) still-life pic of Twix Twixels. Nestle Munchies Munchies, on the other hand, are comparatively newer, and currently appearing everywhere in this innovative counter-line-sized bag (clearly inspired by Nestle's own Little Rolos). And for the casual browser who didn't want to risk buying a big box, it confirms that these nipple-shaped treats are, if anything, even more delicious than the trapezoid-shaped ones that come in a tube.

Comment: If these are the same ones that you get on a box then they are nowhere near as good as the 'originals'. Not enough caramel basically.

Comment: Am I the only person who thinks the name 'Munchies Munchies' is, well, stupid?

Comment: I'll take this one, shall I? Lucky Charms and Mountain Dew both appear to be available from the "American Buyers Club" bit of Cybercandy.co.uk - click on "Cereals" and "Sodas", respectively: http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/aaasmt/index.php/url_abcsec

Comment: I Have managed to obtain some nestle Lucky Charms in the UK. House oF Fraser, Cardiff stock them! They are expensive at about £5.75 per box but I feel well worth it. There shelves are currently empty as I just bought the last 2, but they are due another delivery soon. They get them from the States. 17066 5
