Click pic to view comments Confirmed sighting: Walkers Sensations Nut Clusters
Posted: 22:50 Sun 12-10-2003. Price: 2.99/ 300g. Location: Tescos Pembury (Tunbridge Wells). Sub-flavours: Chilli Spice, Cool Tomato Salsa, Cream and Onion. Nutritional unusualness: "Made in a factory that uses other types of nut ingredients".
"Kuzzer" reports: Tubbed snacks are always a good sign in my experience - but these disappointed. Although crunchiness was 10/10, the Spicy Tomato Salsa falvour was very thin on the ground - hardly there, in fact. 2.99 is a bit steep, but after three mini snacking sessions in front of The Simpsons on Tuesday night, there's still half the tub left - so that can't be bad.

...Part of the latest onslaught of seasonal Walkers weirdness (also featuring Honey Roasted Ham Sensations, Doritos Lightly Salted Christmas Trees, and Turkey and Paxo flavoured "Christmas Dinner in a Bag"), these are undeniably unusual, apparently attempting to replicate the popular childhood cocktail of a peanut sandwiched between a number of crisps. Anyway, following the toilet-related revelations of "Nebbish", I've yet to establish whether they, like many modern spicy-flavoured crisps, actually make your pooh smell noticeably different - and, if that's the case, whether Walkers have considered an "annoying kid no longer needs bathroom air freshener" angle for their next TV advertising campaign.

Comment: I've tried the Roast Turkey and Paxo "Merry Crispmas" flavour. They taste just like Roast Chicken flavour to me. There's an edited version of "We wish you a Merry Christmas" on the back: "We wish you a Merry Crispmas / we all love Roast Turkey with Paxo flavour / ... etc". Just noticed my pack is best before 20 Dec 2003 :).

Comment: James, you don't happen to have sampled these crisps at a unofficial Christmas on the 11th of October, have you?! And I agree - I can't taste the Paxo at all.....

Comment: Tried the Chilli spice flavour nut clusters, not much spice to them, taste like those ones kp do with the crispy shell, just cost loads more!

Comment: Just stumbled across this - a self-confessed "half-baked" idea about launching a "Restaurant of Urine-Altering Cuisine":

...which also links to this (mildly distressing) guide to "Urine Discolouration by Agent":

- yet no confirmation that Snackspot readers' favourite ever beverage may "turn your stools blue":

Comment: I troughed all of my beloved friend's Walkers nut sensations while he was very poorly and off work sick. Now he is demandaing that I replace them, but I can't find anywhere that sells sells them. Can anyone help me?
