Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Crusha Lime 300ml/ Tesco Finest Mexican Key Lime Crush Confirmed sighting: Crusha Lime 300ml/ Tesco Finest Mexican Key Lime Crush
Posted: 11:47 Tue 10-Aug-2004. Price: 1.09 (Crusha). Location: Tesco, Ashford Middlesex. Nutritional unusualness: None noted.
"stv" reports: Finally, a consumer-sized Lime Crusha! I've been waiting for this since I first tried it in a secluded cafe whilst on holiday in Wales many years ago. It's only previously been available as a 740ml bottle from Wholesalers and Cash and Carry outlets. IMO it's gorgeous, one of the best milkshake flavours there is, which is strange as the smell and taste conjure up toilet cleaning products in my mind (though I have yet to actually taste any toilet cleaning products). Now they just need to release the Black Cherry and Pineapple flavours to the general public...

...First-time spotter "stv" continues yesterday's lime-flavoured theme while, in other cause for citric celebration, "Stuart Campbell" was overjoyed to find Mexican Key Lime Crush for just 99p/ 1 litre bottle in Tesco, Weston-super-Mare, noting: Snackspot rarely features supermarket own-brands, but this is such a breakthrough release it deserves coverage. Your reporter is a keen fan of both lime-flavour products and natural sweetening, but it's been at least a decade since it was possible to buy limeade anywhere in the UK free of the [allegedly] poisonous influence of Aspartame. This addition to Tesco's "Finest" range is the first (and so far only) all-sugar limeade of the 21st Century, and is absolutely lovely (as is the less-new Raspberry variant in the range). Perfect for adding tequila to, or just enjoying on its own as a summer thirst-quencher after a hot day on the promenade and in front of the Penny Falls machines.

Comment: Lime is the flavour of kings. I raised the heinous lack of lime milkshake flavouring here a while ago, but can't for the life of me find the comment.

Anyway, a great day for snacking.

Comment: Lime Crusha 300ml bottles are currently being sold in the Somerfields in Forest Gate East London, can't confirm if other branches have it though. If anyone can find the Black Cherry one I'd be for ever in their debt.

Comment: My daughter is desperately searching for Lime Crusha.... We live in Falmouth in Cornwall, but we can't find it anywhere! Although Wimpy in Penzance uses Lime Crusha for their milk shakes

Comment: Lime crusha is sold in Adsa/Walmart. Your best bet is to order from a supplier, ask your local cafe as they should be able to order gourmet syrups from the wholesaler.

Comment: dear CRUSHA FANS, I've been a big big lover of the Crusha "Black Cherry" flavour for a long time. But the problem was i could only get bottles of it at the Booker store's. But i recently went back to buy some more and i found it was gone. Please could you tell me what has happened to my beloved Black Cherry flavour crusha? I feel heart broken when i think i will never taste this flavour again. i truly felt it was the most wonderful flavour milk shake ever. I seriously am devastated, becouse non of the other flavours compare to it im my opinion. An opinion i share with my partner and my sister who also loved this flavour. Please could you tell me what has happened to this flavour. Is it coming back? Why did it go? Please let me know. I have checked several booker stores but havnt been able to find it. I did however find a new Crusha called "Wild N Fruity" in Booker. another new flavour that i presume has taken the place of Black Cherry.. although it is nice... it tastes almost identical to the Raspberry Crusha. Please reply asap. Thanks for your time. - Regards, Anthony (in Dorset)
