Posted: 22:43 Mon 11-Apr-2005. Price: Estimated 1. Location: Tesco, Brentwood. Sub-flavours: Traditionalist Watermelon, and Blue Raspberry, plus three "twisted" flavours - Rainbow Sherbet, Berry Blast and Strawberry Watermelon. Nutritional unusualness: Calorie Tardis - an incredible 2000 calories in just 34g of matter, 0% Protein, 0% Fat.
"Pzazz fiend with additional reporting by the lovely Penny Number" reports: Too lazy to go outside I persuaded a friend to find me something sugary and exotic. After some coaxing with a death threat she relented and found this sordid treat. E-numbers make me incredibly hyperactive - quite frankly I like it. When others naively allow me an unsupervised trip to the pic 'n' mix counter at my local Odeon, a fun day out at the cinema with friends can turn into a crime scene. Even so, I would be extremely wary of this little monster, it's the kind of thing someone could pull on you in the middle of a fight. Further evidence at this mad website, which seems to be aimed at the "food-scares for the visually impaired" market or something; a chilling robotic voice reads out an article about what this kind of stuff can do to your teeth - worth visiting if only to hear an android read out the frightening pH level of a Spanish-made "Brain Licker". You'll need speakers/ earphones. Not for afraidy-cats.

..."Pzazz fiend" (and friend) return with this colourful concoction from the US manufacturers of - naturally - the Juicy Drop Pop range. And in other lolly-related lunacy: The Grocer magazine is keenly looking forward to UK launches of Chupa Chups' "hard candy outside and a soft chewy centre" Cuore Di Frutta followup to their sugar-free Cremosa, plus the sugar-free "clear natural mineral water" Calypso Icicles Freezepops (from 1.15 per box).

Comment: Demand away. I'm not giving you 25 dollars because you can't operate candy without injuring yourself.

Comment: State your claim and I'll think about it. A warning though, if it's something stupid like you bought a Yorkie and choked on the packaging or you had an asthma attack after trying to smoke some Polos, I may have to throw this out of court.
