Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Skinny Cow Triple Chocolate Stick Confirmed sighting: Skinny Cow Triple Chocolate Stick
Posted: 21:14 Thu 02-Jun-2005. Price: More than 1, if I recall. Location: Newsagent, Swiss Cottage, London. Sub-flavours: Cookies 'n' Cream, Chocolate Fudge, Very Berry. Nutritional unusualness: "Less than 2% fat, typically 78 calories per stick".
Snackspot reports: I must admit, I wasn't quite as impressed with this one as I was by the Refreshing Raspberry and Vanilla Cone - it's realistically chocolatey and everything, as well as being ostensibly "low fat", but the first thing you notice when you take it out of the (enormous) box is how small it is (about the size of those "Dove" bars on a stick you used to be able to get). And while I'm all in favour of sensible portion control, presumably it's easier for one of these (at 90ml in volume) to have a bit less fat and calories than a (120ml) Magnum, which is a whole 33% bigger?

...In other "triple threats", The Grocer magazine confirms that Cadbury are celebrating their 100th anniversary with a "super-premium" Cadbury Dairy Milk Centenary Triple Chocolate Ice-Cream (1.20 per stick), while "Magnetic Ham Sandwich" gave "Somewhere Under Utah" as the location for the following blast from the past (and under Sub-flavours: "All others wiped out in a Time War"): Been looking through my collection of old sweet wrappers and crisp packets and came across this lolly wrapper from 1975. Of course it's not a real spotting, but just imagine how good it would be if it was. Tasty choc and mint lolly to eat - and 5 real life-size Daleks to be won in the competition. A pity about their 1995 invasion of Earth as mentioned on the back of the wrapper. Maybe they got lost somewhere in Gloucester.

Comment: I had purchased carmel ice cream on a stick civered with chocolate and nuts. I have not been able to find it. It had 2 grams of carbohydrates ohn the box. I really liked them. But I cannot find them any more at Zehr's store in Kingsville.

Comment: These are just fab! They were recommended to me by my best friend, who is following the WW plan. The Mint ones are just lovely, as are the choc fudge ones. Now for the Strawberry ones and the tubs :o)

Comment: The raspberry and strawberry swirl ones in mini tubs taste of the cardboard tub they come in! Not recommended at all. The strawberry cones (like Cornettos) on the other hand are divine!!! Mint sticks are gorgeous too. 68050 7
