Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Pringles Dippers Mediterranean Salsa/ Pringles Cheese Confirmed sighting: Pringles Dippers Mediterranean Salsa/ Pringles Cheese
Posted: 21:31 Wed 07-Sep-2005. Price: 1.49. Location: Co-op in Lostwithiel, Cornwall. Sub-flavours: Pringles Dippers Hint of Salt 'n' Vinegar. Nutritional unusualness: 54g fat per 170g tube.
"Magnetic Ham Sandwich" reports: These are the Pringles shaped a little flatter so you can scoop up your favourite dip, and flavoured a little less so as not to overpower the taste of the dip. Of course if you're just eating them without the benefit of any dip all you get is a slightly different shaped Pringle and a bit less taste for your money. Kind of like those "One-Cup" teabags Tetley's invented a few years ago, or the continually shrinking Wagon Wheel - a cunning way to get you to pay the same money for less product than you are used to. Still a nice crisp though. The Mediterranean Salsa Dippers use the same picture on the tube as the Tomato and Mozzarella flavour from the Taste The World series (and tastes identical too).

...Snackspot's current "crisp correspondent" returns with this somewhat anticlimactic identification - while "footix2" has found Cheese Pringles for 1.29 in Asda Coatbridge, Scotland, rejoicing: Long and hard I have searched for Pringles Cheezums - a flavour it seems was only available the other side of the pond. I've even considered having vistors to the US import them or even pay around 5 for a tube on Ebay. Imagine my delight tonight on walking into my local Asda where I had recently spotted Pringles of the Jalapeno flavour to spot an unusual yellow coloured Pringles tube tucked away on the shelf. Custard flavour I thought, Lemon maybe... I knew straight away it was the Cheese Pringles. Not quite the old-style ones but how nice to have Cheese flavour Pringles once again.
