Posted: 16:08 Wed 01-Feb-2006. Price: 19p each (currently half price, normally 39p). Location: Sainsbury's, Warrington. Sub-flavours: 200g pots of Banana and Custard, Apricot; 6 x 125g multipacks of "Smooth" Peach and "Smooth" Strawberry. Nutritional unusualness: (Banana and Custard) 57kcal, 0.1g fat, 9.6g carb, 4.4g protein; (Apricot) 53kcal, 0.1g fat., 8.6g carb, 4.5g protein (all per 100g).
"Robert H" reports: Finally managed to track down Muller's new range, with some interesting new additions, though they also seem to have discontinued Peach and Maracuya Mullerlights, one of my favourites :( They've also changed their range of Healthy Balance corners, to comprise Cherry, Strawberry and Red Berry Crunch.

...Not to question our regular Mullerlight correspondent, but "also saw a new Rhubarb one" going for 38p (or buy 5 get 5 free) at Asda, claimed "josie", concluding: Banana Custard one is yum. A bit sweet, but it hit the spot nicely. Well done Muller for another great yog! While, in other pudding permutations: I think I preferred the Mullerice "Special Edition" Apple Strudel that I found in a newsagents to the Muller Amore Raspberry Creme (59p, Sainsbury's) that appears to be sponsoring one of those endless "move to a different country/ home makeover" shows; and, in case you were wondering, the innovation of the McDonald's Crunchie Deluxe McFlurry (99p) is that it combines "Cadbury Crunchie pieces" (both chocolate-coated and pure honeycomb) plus a "delicious" toffee-ish sauce - which works very well, but unfortunately adds nearly 10g more sugar (50.9g vs 42.7g) compared to the "classic" Crunchie McFlurry.

Comment: I thought the banana custard one just tasted of normal banana yoghurt. They have just given it a fancy name.

Comment: i thought the banana custard one was really disappointing. i think they mistook `fluorescent yellow` to mean `custard`.

Comment: Yes, banana custard just tastes like banana yoghurt! The Cherry strudel is nice, although i think they should have more/bigger cake pieces in all the mullerlight dessert yogurts!
