Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Frijj Limited Edition Raspberry flavour Confirmed sighting: Frijj Limited Edition Raspberry flavour
Posted: 14:36 Tue 20-Jun-2006. Price: "Not sure". Location: Iceland, East Acton. Nutritional unusualness: Just 10.7g "carbohydrate" (sugar?) per 100ml.
"Orangey" reports: OK, I am submitting this but I have no photo, no taste report and so it is a bit useless but I just want to alert you that it's out there.

...A somewhat tokenistic sighting here from "Orangey", though fortunately I spotted a bottle in my local Sainsbury's over the weekend, and can confirm that it tastes unsurprisingly like their previous Raspberry D'oh Nut Simpsons tie-in (though with steadily less carbohydrate content than both Get Minted and Hey Hey Banoffee Pie). Also, how long have they been printing the (perhaps too honest) "Suitable for vegetarians and those who are so hungry they can't think straight" on the side? Anyway, in other milky mixtures: Muller are manufacturing a new brand of "fromage frais, high juice jelly, yogurt drinks and smoothies" called Little Stars; and I'm almost disappointed not to have yet been besieged by "genuine" sightings of the latest Super Berry addition to the For Goodness Shakes! "world class recovery product" range.

Comment: Apologies for the lacklustre sighting - was having PhD statistical stress and it was just all too much for me!

Comment: I have tried this one! I never tried Raspberry D'oh Nut so I can't compare, however it is a pleasant taste and really recommend it. It is 'fresh' and you can certainly taste the raspberries. I wonder if they will stop Chocolate Fudge Brownie now, like they have stopped both Popcorn Flavoured Milkshakes in Asda and Frijj. It is rubbish; these people create decent products, only then to discontinue them! Anyway back to the milkshake - it was good :-)

Comment: Frijj Limited Edition Raspberry flavour, well this looks nice as i love raspberries but, what was wrong with raspberry donut flavour? absolutely nothing, it was my favourite milkshake ever, why bother dropping the donuts frijj? hmm come up with something a little more nuanced next time

Comment: "Suitable for vegetarians and those who are so hungry they can't think straight" ooh i ought to go over to those frijj people (presumably residing in Norway, from the spelling) and give them a good finger-wagging. Although perhaps in this circumstance it would be better to blow a raspberry in their lentil-oppressing faces. oh, i meant to say as well, tis a rather pleasant milkshake this, if suffering from the usual 'fake raspberry' raspberry taste- but nowt wrong with that, as long as you don't have your hopes up too high

Comment: It seemed a little less thick than any other Frijj edition so far. Very accurate taste. Nowhere near as good as Fudge Brownie/White Chocolate/Vanilla. Btw: What has happened to White Chocolate Flavour!!??? 92444 7 8
