Click pic to view comments - Semi-international sighting: Cadbury Choclairs Nut Dream Semi-international sighting: Cadbury Choclairs Nut Dream
Posted: 20:36 Thu 19-Oct-2006. Price: 39p for 90g (or 3 bags for 1). Location: Jack Fulton, Sheffield. Nutritional unusualness: 3.6% hazlenut mass.
"charl" reports: Do robot squirrels dream of electric nuts? We may never know. Cadbury Poland suspect some of us dream of nuts, however and have created this "nut dream" variety accordingly. They are very similar to the classic Eclair and are described as "caramels with chocolate-hazelnut flavoured centres". Great! They have a subtle hazelnut flavour to the centre which fades as your mouth becomes raw from eating more than two sweets (an Eclair standard). Not radical, but endearing.

...And congrats to "charl" for contributing Snackspot's 800th posting - while, in closer-to-home chewiness, it's only been a month or so since "choccieman" snapped these Quality Street Selections Caramels, Toffees and Fudge (6.99/ tin, Tesco Southampton), chuckling: Did someone say Christmas? Yes it's the start of the holiday season already. Found this in Tesco (sorry, I didn't buy and test, 7 quid is a little steep for all those Toffee Pennies). Not sure if this is a one-off this year or whether other varieties exist. Also noted that the normal Quality Street tins are showing off 70th anniversary artwork.

Comment: Cadburys Collection range (3 flavours) is out, not sure If It's been sighted as I do find this site very user unfriendly but extremely interesting. Quite a few other new items, think It was Caramel donuts and some other new cakes but brain like a sieve. I also think I spend way too much time in shops (yes I have no life) as I see about 80% of the items on here before they are sighted.
