Click pic to view comments - International sighting: US Coca Cola Cherry Zero/ Imaginary Coconut Pepsi International sighting: US Coca Cola Cherry Zero/ Imaginary Coconut Pepsi
Posted: 16:22 Thu 08-Feb-2007. Price: $1.19. Location: Mckinney, Texas.
"Tom Lythe" reports: Found this brand new cherry extension of the Coke Zero line. I tried it and to me it tastes just like Regular Cherry Coke, maybe even better! Grab it when you see it!! "Tom" adds further impetus to the Diet Coke with Cherry debate - compared to the more supernatural visions of "Lucy Snowe", who prophesises: This is a bit weird, but I had a really vivid dream that Pepsi had brought out a coconut flavoured Coke, and the can was a kind of puce colour with silver bits (the opposite way around for the diet version). I thought I would tell you this now in case maybe I was foretelling the future or something - it would be quite a scoop if so.

...Back on a more earthly plane, Coca-Cola have also launched Peartiser, claimed to be the country's only purely pear-based drink (and, while we're at it, is Grapetiser officially available in the UK?), and I've been pleasantly surprised by these O2GO Drink More Water sachets (in Peach Dream, Strawberry Splash, Lemon Citrus, Cranberry Burst, or Green Tea, 79p/3), not least because you tear them open then pour the powder into a drink like a surreptitious sedative in a 1950s spy movie.

Comment: Coconut Coke would be heave-licious!!! I can't wait for Zero Cherry. It takes very little to cheer me up and it is usually something encased in a tin. Or a crisp packet.
