Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Mars Galaxy Cookie Crumble Confirmed sighting: Mars Galaxy Cookie Crumble
Posted: 23:30 Tue 23-Oct-2007. Price: 1.09. Location: Tesco, Coatbridge, Scotland. Nutritional unusualness: 548 kcal per 100g.
Mars may have launched "A Little Bit Of..." versions of Mars, Snickers, Galaxy, Bounty, Ripple, Mars Delight and Milky Way - plus, more intriguingly, M and M or Twix Triple Thick Shakes - but "Zeddy" continues plodding through the Galaxy variants with this apparent Tesco-only exclusive, announcing: Found this whilst doing the weekly shop. I had heard of but not seen it. Lovely creamy Galaxy with biscuity pieces inside. Dances all over CDM with biscuit. Well worth the money, if hard to find, but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles! ;)

...Speaking of which, Cadbury Dairy Milk with Shortcake Biscuit seems to be the basis of McDonald's latest McFlurry - but it wouldn't be a "Zeddy" sighting without a low-budget Eastern European import, this time in the form of the Nestle Straciatella which he found for 2 for 1, Poundland, explaining: This is a Nestle white chocolate with little pieces of milk chocolate covered rice and wheat 'crispies' ruuning through it. The white chocolate is too overpowering to really taste anything else but it does have a crispness to it. I think it is made in Sarajevo - it has Nestle.hr as the website to link to.

Comment: I loved this chocolate, and I have to admit I may have eaten 2/3 of it in one go! Thankfully I had a boyfriend to give the rest to so I wasn't tempted (they are useful for some things!)

I haven't tried the coffee version I saw a while ago after I managed to track it down in Sainsburys Local but I shall after I picked up this bar and enjoyed it so much. After the ultimate let down of the dark Galaxy I was scared of any variant, milk or not.
